Perfect in beauty

Divine in purity.

We are the ugly

Stained in sins

Wretched deep

   within.

Love came down

Took our shame

Bore all our pain.

On the cross

Love crucified

Marred, brutalised.

Covered in blood

The Red Rose

Died, buried, arose.

Now justified

By His grace alone

All my sins atoned.
